#7 – Email Your List a Survey to Tap Into Their Needs
Surveys can be a wonderful addition to your email marketing strategy.
By using a survey tool, and periodically asking your subscribers targeted and specific questions, you will be able to deliver products and services to their inbox that will prove you understand their needs.
You don't want to constantly be requiring your list to respond to your emails.
People are busy, and they don't have time to tell you what you need to be teaching.
However, many of them will appreciate that you ask what their needs are so that they can tell you and have them met.
You can use a simple question in an email and have them reply directly back to you.
Or, if you have multiple questions that you would like to know, you can set up a survey on a tool like SurveyMonkey and allow them to go fill out the form so that you can collect the information.
The information won't help you in terms of profits unless you do something with it.
You might ask your list what their specific goals are, what media format they like to learn in – whether it's an eBook, video, or even audio, and where they are struggling most so that you can help them.
Once you find out, create a blog article, video or audio to answer their needs or problems.
